Energeto 4000 3DIn the vast majority of the buildings translucent structures form more than 20% of wall surface and limitation of thermal loss through them has a significant impact on overall energy characteristic of the building.  

Of course, glass has the greatest impact that determines the thermal characteristics of the window. However the frame profile representing about 30% of window surface also plays important role.  

Intelligent solution system became a reality. System without steel reinforcement inside profiles, structural components, that significally reduces thermal loss in the buildings – these are new advantages provided by Aluplast.

 energeto ® is new direction of thinking about efficiency of energy use as it provides removal of steel reinforcement previously used in profiles, which caused deterioration of thermal flows. In addition, by implementing of this technology, Aluplast meets expectations of manufacturers in optimizing production processes associated with windows.

Implementation of energeto ® task is possible due to combination of two Aluplast’s innovative technologies:

  • "bonding inside ", a special frame and glass connection technology;
  • "powerdur inside", a new type of frame, created in cooperation with BASF by usage of  plastic Ultradur ® High Speed, which replaces steel reinforcement that is used in ordinary frames.

Advantages of glass unit bonding technology:
  • lack of operations related to profile reinforcement;
  • lack of support and remote plates installation operations;
  • minimal risk of glass unit cracking, lack of local glass tensions;
  • high stability of windows due to glass unit impact;
  • ability to automate the glazing process;
  • reduce in the amount of glass cracking incidents because of its wrong installation;
  • increase of glazing surface – profiles is lower for about 10 mm;
  • improved sound insulation through the direct connection of glass with the fold frame;
  • improved security – lack of fold deflection due to the gap with glue around the whole perimeter.

Implementation of glass unit bonding technology together with taken steps for  removal of the “weak link”, that are used for them amplifiers from profile thermo-insulation point of view, led to the attempts of their complete removal from profiles. Metal amplifiers due to their high thermal conductivity form thermal bridge.

Such new direction with a thought about energy saving profiles became systems in which special fittings from plastic and fiber glass Ultradur® High Speed are used instead of steel amplifiers.

Thermoplast enhanced with fiber glass replaces metal, that is used in ordinary PVC frames and significantly improves their thermal insulation characteristics under the same mechanical properties of the window.

Refusal of metal amplifiers allowed to eliminate thermal bridges and reach thermal conductivity coeficient value of Uf = 1,0 W/m²K. It must be emphasized that this value could be achieved under standard profile building depth that is equal to 70 mm.
